Neymar has enjoyed a highly decorated career. In 2011, at age 19, he won the FIFA Puskás Award for scoring the goal of the year. Two years later he powered Brazil to its fourth FIFA Confederations Cup, winning the Golden Ball for most valuable player of the tournament. In 2016 he led Brazil to its first Olympic gold medal at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Games. He has also won many domestic tournaments with FC Barcelona in Spain and Paris Saint-Germain in France. In 2023 he broke Brazilian football legend Pelé’s record to become his country’s top scorer in international games.
