There are several types of colony-stimulating factors (CSFs), including G-CSF, which promotes the production of neutrophils; GM-CSF, which stimulates the production of granulocytes and monocytes; and M-CSF, which stimulates the production of monocytes and macrophages. IL-3, sometimes referred to as multi-CSF, supports the production of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
