In Egypt Joseph is sold to Potiphar, the captain of Pharaoh’s guard, and becomes successful in all he does. However, Potiphar’s wife falsely accuses Joseph of trying to sexually assault her. Joseph is imprisoned for this offense but eventually rises to second in command of the kingdom after interpreting Pharaoh’s dreams. During a famine Joseph’s family comes from Canaan to seek food, and all are eventually reunited.
