Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods (born December 30, 1975, Cypress, California, U.S.) is an American golfer who dominated professional golf in the late 1990s and early 2000s, becoming the first player to win the four major tournaments consecutively. In 1997, Woods, one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, became the first golfer of either African American or Asian descent to win the Masters Tournament, one of the most prestigious events in the sport. He would win it four more times, putting him behind only Jack Nicklaus for most Masters’ victories.
