Yuvraj Singh played a key role in India’s victories at the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Twenty20 2007 and the 2011 ICC One Day International World Cup, where he was declared Player of the Series. He was also honored with the Arjuna Award, India’s second-highest sporting award, in 2012 and the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award, in 2014 for his contributions to Indian cricket.
