During World War II, the U.S.’s Office of Strategic Services (precursor to the CIA) developed a spray that mimicked the “unmistakable evidence of extreme personal uncleanliness.” The spray was designed for use by resistance groups to lower morale in enemy forces through embarrassment. The project was code-named “Who, Me?”
